Looking for MKII? Try Aladdin's Castle in your area. Sure, a) they use
tokens, b) the atmosphere sucks, c) it's filled with whiney kids, but
they'll have it.

Midway was recently bought by Aladdin's Castle (or the other way around)
so it's not surprising that they get MKII before anyone else.

That's quite interesting. I'll remember that next time I visit my Aladdin's
up at Harlem-Irving Plaza in Chicago.

Dennis' Place for Games (Belmont) got their MKII first, but it was version 0.5
(or some other test version). They've upgraded to 1.0.
Diversions (McCormick) picked up a 1.0 at the same time as Aladdin's Castle
picked up two 1.0 machines. Then Diversions picked up two more machines, and
upgraded all of them to 1.1 (by Thanksgiving) And just this past Sunday
Diversions picked up 1.3! And Kung Lao and Mileena have new moves! And Shang
Tsung has a fatality (had it done to me)

Time is short, I've got to go. Email me if you want details. I'll post some
more sometime later.

No, they were bought by NAMCO! I'm good friends with the manager at the
local Aladdin's here, and I'm sure of this. BTW, they got it because
they have a good relationship with Midway, nothing more. We're still waiting
for it to be delivered, after a week of waiting for the truck to show up.
