here is a repost of combos that can be done against goro on revisions 2.0 
and up.  the reason that it's not possible on 1 is because goro doesn't 
fall down.

SUB-ZERO vs GORO

freeze goro in the corner.  easiest way is to jump towards him at the 
start of the round, kick him, then slide and freeze.  push him into the 
corner then slide and freeze.  then back away a little and:

1>  jump kick
2>  low punch
3>  high punch
4>  high punch
5>  hop punch
6>  jump kick
7>  jump kick
8>  roundhouse
9>  freeze
10> uppercut

you can also double kick goro.  i.e. jump kick - hop kick - slide.

SCORPION vs GORO

this is a good one.  when the round begins, jump away.  if goro jumps at 
you, kick him in the air.  immediately teleport punch.  then teleport punch, 
teleport punch, etc.  play volleyball with goro!  you still hit him even 
though he nearly hits the ground.  repeat untill dead.

scorpion can also double kick goro.  jump kick - hop kick - spear - 
uppercut works good.  also jump kick then spear before he hits the ground.

if you get goro in the corner you can do this:

1>  jump kick
2>  low punch
3>  high punch
4>  high punch
5>  hop punch
6>  jump kick
7>  jump kick
8>  roundhouse
9>  spear
10> uppercut

LIU KANG vs GORO

i like this one.  jump kick - flying kick - fireball - flying kick.  two 
of these combos and goro's gone.

OTHERS vs GORO

you can basically screw goro up with anyone as long as you can get goro 
in the corner.  easiest on a shang tsung match, just jump kick someone 
into the corner, and shang tsung will hopefully turn into goro right 
there.  just use the jump kick - low punch - high punch - high punch move 
and that will get him high enough to do damage.  goro can also be hop 
punched to death by cage/kano/raiden.  that's all for now i guess...
