Yo there MK freaxx! Do any of you out there know some cool&funny trixx on Mortal Kombat Arcade machine? To give you some examples, here are some I know... Johnny Cage - Fatality 2x: 2 heads on the ground (I heard 3 is possible?) - Fatality+Shadow Kick: punch head off and then still shadowkick the opponent, causing him to be lying on the ground with his head on again. - Fatality+Split Punch: punch head off and then hit opponent in da nuts, he has his head again. - Missed Fatality: he punches but misses bcoz opponent didn't stand up yet, opponent is just dangling standing up. Scorpion - Finish him/her --> throw+fatality - Opponent low on power, get him/her with the hook. Simultaneously keep hitting with low/high punch (the jab) while tapping joystick up: opponent gets further away from you with each jab, when he/she is at the right distance you get the fatality. This can also be done in a few other ways, but I like this one best. - When you play against Goro, jump 'in' him, iow. very close to him. This only works when he shoots (you jump, he shoots). Then do the teleport punch, you will not come from the side of the screen but hit him in the front. If you execute a hook right after this the screen gets a few bugged lines for a second. - Shang Tsung motionless in Goro shape: make sure you're all the way left of the screen and Shang Tsung (as himself!) all the way right of the screen. Then teleport punch him and immediately teleport punch back to the left. If you're lucky, Shang Tsung is now Goro, half turned and motionless. He'll continue moving though when you go near or attack in any way. - Arcade Reset: win one round against Shang Tsung, then execute the previous trick (motionless). Keep walking backwards until the time runs out. If you hear a bang, the machine should crash & reset. This can probably also be done with a normal time elapse but is much more difficult. Sub Zero - Frozen fatality: Finish opponent with a sweep, then immediately freeze. Now perform the fatality. - Arcade Reset: In the mirrormatch freeze the CPU Sub Zero, stand really close and freeze again causing a double ice backfire. He should now freeze back again. Respond again with a freeze. If you continue this fast enough and close enough, the screen will go funny and finally crash & reset. If you do this from a larger distance, the CPU Sub Zero can also respond like this, but he will stop after a while and the screen can't fuck up. Lying opponent Fatality: Is possible for several characters, fe. by waiting with the fatality until the last moment, the opponent falls to the ground but you still get the fatality and they stand again. Air/ducking fatality: Also possible for several characters, fe. with Kano jump towards and just before the landing execute the fatality. He will now hang in the air 4 a second and then do the fatality on the ground. Something like this can also be done with a ducking fatality (they're ducking for a second, then do the fatality) Well I also know some other weird tricks (or only seen them) but I'll maybe write them another time... So if anyone knows cool tricks like these, please email (prefered) or post them... By the way, also cool combo's are wanted!... (example: Scorpion vs. Kano, Kano does a ball attack, block it, walk a bit towards, hit him twice with high jab, teleport punch him, jump kick him, hook him, uppercut him... Really cool! Takes away 3/4 of his energy!) Patrick. pat...@htsa.aha.nl PS. MK SNES sucks!

Well, I've seen everything you mentioned except for these:
Raiden vs. Kano:. Block Kanos spin, walk forward a bit, 2 high punches,
teleport, 2 high punches, and a dive/lightning/round house kick (pick 1 you
like).

I forgot one thing ... You said that you can knock someone down, and if time
remains, you can still do the fatality.
The hardest one, (and best looking) is Raidens.
Believe it or not (I have witnesses), there is this one kid at the U of M
arcade that I consistently beat with Raiden with a handicap ... I only use
my Left hand.
My point is ... during the fatality, I accidentally dove, but I got the teleport
and fatality off in time (I am still using one hand to do this)
Anyone else attempt to play with one hand?

Yes, his feet. Of course he was the son of the owner of the game so he could play as much as he wanted (which is probably how he got so good). /==========================================================================\ | Michael Kraft Internet: emp...@dorm.rutgers.edu | |--------------------------------------------------------------------------| | New Jersey, USA | \==========================================================================/

To give you some examples, >here are some I know... > [examples deleted] I was doing a kinda intresting one with sub-zero the other day. Get your opponent down to almost danger, (enough to kill him with a jump punch) when he is close jump straight up and hit him with a late jump punch on the way down, IMMEDIATely do the fatality motion. What you will see is: whoever gets hit and starts reeling backwards. Sub-zero's hand starts to make its arc towards the head (which is not there) and the second that he should contact the opponent he snaps back to fatality distance and has his head/spine removed.. I'm pretty sure you can do this with most any fatality, i.e. w/ johny cage you could hit the head.. or maybe whiff... dunno Kano could pull out a distant heart. fun fun fun -- -- Nothing in Moderation / za...@wpi.wpi.edu Do what you do... Do it well / Benjamin C. Lee
