Can someone tell me EXACTLY how to try to see him? I've heard slight
variations of the base, no block/double flawless/without losing previous
matches/at the pit... But what makes it hard for me, is Liu Kang is my WORST
character to fight against. Any good hints to use against him?

Just make sure that when you are on the bridge, you get TWO rounds
of flawless without blocking. If you get hit just let the computer kill you
unless you can't afford it...

Study the way the battle plan arranges the order of fighters depending
on how you choose your character. For example, to play Raiden, you can move
down and left twice or move left and down or move right 3 times and down.
Depending on the way you put the cursor on Raiden, the battle plan's order
will change as well. This way you can manipulate who appears on the pit
screen. I never knew about this myself until a kid showed me with consistency
how he could always get Scorpion on the bridge for an "uneven match."

A good strategy against Liu Kang is to:

1) When you start, bend down immediately to avoid a flying kick or fireball.

2) After Liu-Kang attacks (or starts walking towards you) stand up and jump
back until you have enough room, then jump-kick him.

3) Bend down again after the jump-kick hits him to avoid retaliation, and
basically repeat the routine over and over until you beat Liu-Kang.

Granted, this strategy will not work because you will eventually
have your back against the wall. You will have to take the chance sometime
during your routine to jump back and jump kick again after a successful
jump-kick. The tricky part is predicting whether Liu-Kang will retaliate
instead of walking towards you when he gets up, and the pattern varies due
to machine difficulty setting and versions... so practice and observe, learn
the patterns!

Another easy way is to just play Liu-Kang so he won't show up!
