What is the deal with the high scores listing in Mortal Kombat for the SNES? Can you actually add your name to the list? I have never been given the opportunity to do so. This may be because the instant that you are beaten by the computer you score is set to 000 (which may be all that the game reads as your final score). Anyway, great game except for the annoying non-fatality by the computer opponent (It tosses me so much I want to toss my cookies!!). -Jeff

In the arcade, those scores are only used in 2 player mode (records the best
wins in a row). The SNES default has the best with 19 wins, and the 10th with
6 wins ... but GUESS WHAT? It has no real use in the game, because once I had
9 wins in a row, and when I lost, it didn't ask for my name.
So that high score thing has no use for the SNES.
