I was at the local arcade watching this guy play Mortal Kombat. He beat an opponent just when the "Finish Him" sign appeared. The opponent was laying on the ground, but the game still allowed him to perform his fatality. Unfortunately, he didn't. He was using Liu Kang. I don't know if him timing was off or not, but he was able to shoot to 'bolts' at the opponent and do one or two other moves. My question is--is this a glitch in the game or is this a way of racking up some serious points? Also, I've been hearin/reading some info on a Mortal Kombat 2. Is there any solid info out? Will it be just an enhancemnt over the original?. Thanks in advance. Rodney F. Clay cl...@cs.scarolina.edu

While we're on the subject of glitches, I noticed at the arcade at
the mall back home that you can perform your Fatality move on someone
twice in a row; all you do is perform the sequence of moves once, then
do it again. The trick is to do it fast (and I do mean FAST). This may
or may not work depending on which character you use, but I've seen it
done with Johnny Cage, and what basically happened is that he knocked
the other guy's head off twice. If you already know about this (and
chances are, you do) let me know who this will and won't work with.
(BTW, for those of you who haven't heard of this before, this doesn't
get you any bonus points, but it's kinda cool to watch.)

OK. I can tell just by looking at thre or four articles that everyone else is at least 6 steps ahead of me. So while I'm thinking of it, here's a question: I've heard that there are two other "bonus rounds" in the game besides the one where you fight Reptile, one of which is just hinted at. Is this true? -mu...@uxa.ecn.bgu.edu
