Actually it works the other way around. Pictures that would sell and hence
increase sales command the prices they do *because* they'd increase sales.
No leeches snapping candid photos, no candid photos for sale, no sale.

And it's "paparazzi," the plural form of "paparazzo."

If true, did you get that? *if* true, although it certainly doesn't excuse
the parasites from hounding anyone as the human leeches and purveyors of
human misery do (the same leeches who, sickeningly enough, snapped
photographs of Di while she was still trapped in the wreck), it certainly
would explain why a reinforced Mercedes and a skilled driver collide with a
cement pylon at an impact velocity of 196 kilometres an hour. (122 mph)
