MKA has received quite a beating for being a rushed MK3 port and for being all out crap. But, I bought the hype and got the dodgey game and I'm trying to get the most of it. I'm sure I'm not the only victim. Here are my major gripes I'm convinced some of the special moves in MKA are impossible to perform. Take the subsero slide for example - back + block + punch + kick. I don't have the manual handy so I'm guessing that they're the buttons... Has anyone EVER been able to perform this move? I've tried many times without success. That special move doesn't seem to be performable on the GBA unless there's a typo in the manual. I have a feeling the GBA can't recognise all 4 buttons pressed at once which would confirm that MKA was poorly tested. Almost every review of the game I've read says that the game is impossibly hard on medium difficulty. I strongly disagree with that. On my first attempt of the game I managed to make it to the final boss without using a continue. Anyone agree? The final boss on the other hand is close to impossible to beat. He'll trap you on the ground and just keeps on advancing with his charge and sledgehammer attack. It's majorly frustrating. The only way I've ever beat him was to choose Kitana and do repeated teleport kicks on him. Meanwhile, the 2nd last boss is too easy to beat. Oh well, I'm off to try and convince myself that I haven't wasted $90 on this game. Ben
