You came close Jenn. It's actually Block+ Run + Low Kick for 10 seconds on
difficulty of the practice menu. (Unless you downloaded the MK4 trainer
which can set the cheat menu time wait to 1 second among other kool things
like Goro Fatality, Skull Stage, and always have Meat or Kitana.)
>From there you should pick one cheat at time to turn on. Even though it
makes you think it'll allow all of them on at the same time. It doesn't.
Endings will make the game end and show you the ending for the character you
picked after defeating the first opponent.
Fatality I & II will show your player's fatality move just by pressing down
& HP after the Finish Him / Her! Message. It doesn't even matter where you
stand. If the fatality is normally done at close range, the computer will
simply move the opponent close to you automaticly. Remember you must
select EITHER Fataility I or Fataility II. Doing both, will result in the
cheat to not work.
Finally, there's Level Fatailities. Same thing as Fatality I & II (Down &
HP). But will do the spike fataility in all stages except prision where
it'll do a fan fatality instead. (IT looks really wierd in the Ice Pit
stage)

Here are some other secrets incase your wondering.

To get Noob Saibot. Go to hidden on warrior selection screen. Press HP +
Start on hidden. Then move to Reiko. Press HP+Start. You should get Noob
Saibot.
To be Goro. Go to hidden on warrior selection screen.
Press HP + Start on Hidden. Then move to Shinnok. Press HP + Start. You're
Goro. If you don't have the MK4 Trainer, you will play always on Goro's Lair
every time, and you can't do a fatality, even if you have Fatality I or II
or level fatality enabled. You must have the MK4 Trainer patch to get Goro
to do a fatality.

To get Meat. (A bloody Skeleton). Play a 2 player game. Select Group
every time. And make the player you want to be meat win every time. When
you have defeated the opponent with everyone on the selection screen, you
should become Meat. I know this is tedious, but it's the only way to do it
without the MK4 Trainer patch. It's also one way to get your wins up to 12
or more.
