Now, the most interesting things I've found against Goro involved
the 'hop punchers': Johnny Cage, Kano and Raiden...
All three of these characters can kill Goro in the corner with repeated
hop punches, as Goro is the only character who has a hit-stun effect, similar
to SF2...
here's a few individual combos:
Cage: jump punch, hop punch, slide kick
Kano: jump punch, hop punch, ball
jump punch, hop punch, hop kick, energy axe
Raiden: jump kick, body launch, electricity, hop punch
This combo, if performed at the beginning of the round,
will leave you with Goro in the corner and Raiden right
next to him, so you can keep hop punching him until he's
dead...
Now, on to the second matter...
I'm trying to scrape together information to form a FAQ for this group,
being one of the few groups I read which doesn't have one... what do you
all think should be in it? So far the ideas I figure should be in there,
since they keep getting asked, would be:
Defining hop punches/hop kicks.
How to play as Goro/Shang Tsung/Reptile [doesn't exist, but it's asked enough]
What revision chips am I playing on?
umm, I'm not that far, as you can see, but since no one else has mentioned
interest in doing this, I figured I might as well try... of course, this
wouldn't be the same thing as Lei Wang's move list...
*shrug* I think it's a good idea.
