Rick is the new "winner" (so far!!) of the great Tycoon competition.

6 people are having a play, so go to www.mcmuffin.demon.co.uk/index.html
(all new and improved!!) to download the scenario and see the *NEW* league
table.

I'm bleedin' knackered, so I'm going to add the saved games I've received
tomorrow (Mon) night, along with other Tycoon related gubbins.

Thanks to all those who've mailed me their saved games. It is appreciated.
And sorry for not keeping the site as up-to-date as people would like.......

Who's Rick? I haven't seen a message from Rick at all on this NG. Is he one
of the people from the dead mailing list?

You know there's no need to add the index.html part to it. If you go to
www.mcmuffin.demon.co.uk then it automatically goes to the index page.
Unless Demon have it set up so that it loads default.html

Are you going to add that screenshot I sent you with the 5 lorries all
trapped.

I haven't been playing for a while. It was just as I suspected. Loads of
coursework! I'll get down to it tommorow. Oh, and I'm glad to see I am
winning on performance. You know, it shouldn't be judged on money, as I like
to spend all mine building up the towns and cities, and maybe building
loads. People with millions probably don't do anymore.
It's going to be difficult to judge the real winner!

Nope sorry its me.
I don't generally post on NG's with my real name anywhere. Its not that its
cool or anything, but I can be prietty sure that everyone will know who I
am.

Was it in a station? Happens to me all the time B-(

Not by much!

I think I spend all my money on building new factorys and suchlike.
Oh and keeping up-to-date on all the newest tech.

>People with millions probably don't do anymore.

Thats how I used to play when I first started. You know, No opponants, No
breakdowns and the disasters turned off!
Now its harder and I try to get ALL the different producers to a factory or
what-have-you.

>It's going to be difficult to judge the real winner!

I wouldn't mind knowing how you work out the performance number he gives.

I'm not going to get in a strop about this - but its called ettiquette ...
the same as you don't need the last / on a url ... www.mcmuffin.demon.co.uk/
works as does www.mcmuffin.demon.co.uk, but adding the / actually speeds it
up. And yes it does, don't argue. Theres a big article on it. Somewhere.

>Are you going to add that screenshot I sent you with the 5 lorries
I'm going through 453,433,211 saved games at the moment, obtaining all the
stats to stuff it in an Excel chart to show on my site for the competition.
When thats done, and people have stopped moaning at me, then I'll add your
screenshot!!!! Its on my "to-do" list. Honest!!

>It's going to be difficult to judge the real winner!
Well, its going to be even more difficult to judge the loser. Unless its
me.

"He"?? I'll try not to be hurt by that remark........ !!

Tycoon works out the performance figure, but I'm not 100% accurate - I'm
trying to read it off a tiny graph, so apologies if I've diddled anyone!!
I'm actually adding the graphs, etc, to my site, but they are 100k
images.... maybe a little too big......

Ahh...yes, I didn't realise, now I do though. Your email had Rick McGreal on
it, sorry.

No, the computer decided to steal the goods service that had become
available as I was delivering wood to a sawmill. So I lead his trucks up a
quicker road, and trapped them all. They continued in a circle for about 50
years until the game ended.

Just by looking at the graph in the game. I also put my performance number
on my submitted games. And I don't think it's 904, it's actually 900.

Sorry. I was talking to Ed, not supposed to be a disparagment (Or it
wouldn't be if could spell it!)

Don't worry about it, If somebody didn't want to see it they wouldn't look!
