Hi Guys.......

Just have a quick question......

I have just gotten the patch from Josef Drexler and i was wondering if there
are any other patches available?

Also can anybody recomend a GOOD TTD website that has a few scenarios/saves?

Thanks much

Hi Trikky,

I am not sure whether there are any other patches available. I'm sure
there will be, but others will have to tell you this.
On this NG, we are currently running a competition, and it is still
possible to enter it. If you visit this website,
www.mcmuffin.demon.co.uk
you can download the scenario, and print out the finalised rules.
Although we have already started, it is not too late join.
If you also visit the above website, you will soon be able to download
all the submitted scenarios to the competition.
You have to send your saved games every 10 years to
tycoonco...@mcmuffin.demon.co.uk

If you want to avoid getting flamed, then please don't post in HTML. I
don't know what everyone's problem is, but they're just idiots anyway.

Eddie

There is one called TTALTER but it actually hacks the .EXE file, rather than
Josefs patch that copies the .EXE and hacks the copy. This means you'll
have to backup the .EXE first...

It alters the "variables" of the vehicles - so you can ammend the top speed,
pulling power, etc. Again, cos it affects the .EXE, it is "switched on" for
every game, rather than Josefs patch that you can set switches for. Sorry,
I know I'm making it sound crap, and Josefs one is the "best thing since
sliced bread", but it is, and it is!!!!!

As for scenarios, there are sites out there that have them - I'm going to
put some on my site (as Edward mentioned, just above me!) along with the
competiition scenarios. If you go to Yahoo.com and search for Tycoon
scenarios, you get a big list of links -
"http://www.jdicky.demon.co.uk/page8.html" being an example, which in turn
has links to other pages. All I can suggest is visiting them, and if you
find a good 'un, let people know here!!!

Oh, and welcome to the group!!!!!!!

Forgot to mention where you could get TTDALTER. In fact, I can't remember -
all I could find was his email address.

dan...@rmii.com

I'll post it on my site instead, so you can download it from there.
Demon won't update my site until Mon evening, so don't look before then!!!
