Has anyone heard of this new game by Sierra? It is supposed to be a
train simulation of sorts. Probably not in the same class as TTD but
perhaps worth of a look.

I played it.  No where near the class of TTD.  Its too "kiddie."   You
don't build train routes and stuff, you have existing tracks and you
just manage a train or two by taking them from one station to another
to pick up and deliver loads.  It wasn't fun.  Young kids will like it
though.
