Hi there!

I've got a big Problem with Transport Tycoon Deluxe! It crashes everytime I
try to start it from Windows 98.

       Pentium II MMX 400 Mhz
       64 MB RAM
       Windows 98
       Matrox Millenium II 4MB
Sound Blaster PCI 128 (Sound Blaster Pro emulated)

It worked good with this configuration for several months, but suddenly it
started crashing
everytime I tried to play it.

Whats wrong?
Pleeease help me!

Thanx
     Tom

It all depends what one defines as a 'crash'. If it is the program failing
to load, try the following...

Right click on whatever you are using to launch Transport Tycoon Deluxe, be
it shortcut or "tycoon.exe" itself and see what the properties are. Is
there any setting that could cause the game to crash? Alternatively, try
running normal.bat or scenario.bat. That fixed my problems.

Or alternatively, copy all your save games to another directory (e.g. c:\windows\desktop\ttsaves) as
a precaution and delete all TT files and directories.

Reinstall and move all your save games back, bingo! working game (hopefully).

cheers...

Have you tried booting directly to DOS mode?
