Has anyone heard if there will be a new version of Transport Tycoon?? I
bought the original many years ago, still play it and love it immensely.

It's not quite a new version of TT; i.e. it isn't called Transport Tycoon.
Instead it is known as Transport World. Very little is known, other than it
is being made by a bunch of programmers who are writing their first game.
