Strange things on the map.

If you look around the map, you can often find weird things. I spotted a
submarine yesterday. I little black 'thing' sticking out of the water! And
also, when a UFO lands and explodes, you can usually see a little black jet
flying past. You also see this, when an oil refinery explodes. Has anyone
else spotted weird things on the map?

I think you'll find that the black jet is bombing the UFO's and Oil
Refineries, Although you can't see the bombs, it's always present.

Quite often when a UFO lands, if it's near the top of the board and I've
nothing better to do, I like to find the jet and follow it in. Sad, isn't
it?

Nah, not at all. I do that too... Its neat watching all that oil go
up in flames... Sometimes I follow it and then position my train
midway on the UFO so that it won't blow up that part of the track..
It saves the rebuilding and headaches associated with it.

If you look carefully at the water you can see some tiny, tiny, tiny
fish. You can`t see them with the same, but you have to look at the
water for houres and houres.

And don't tell me. If you look closely at the farm, you can see the cows
being milked, iddy biddy ducks waddling about and the farmer going about his
business..... !!!

I've seen the submarine, and spent *ages* convincing my friend I had!!

But talking about strange things, have you ever had ghost trains?? I've
upgraded old trains to the T.I.M.S, and clicked on it to go, and its left
the depot, but the train window doesn't show the train - but it still
follows the track as though the train is there, and it even sets off signals
and the road barriers!!! If I close the window, its a bugger finding the
train again......

Thanks Chris for putting Mr. XL in his place. Surely he must know what
it is like coming to the the last couple of years of a game. Things get
boring, so you just look around the map for things.
And Mr. XL, don't bother to flame me. You can say everything you like
and I'll just ignore it. You know how easy it is to add someone to your
blocked senders list. Flames are boring!

They should include that in the marriage vows.

Thanks Chris, you bring some much needed humour to this newsgroup. I have
been on other newsgroups and they all must be as miserable as sin, being
deadly serious about the newsgroups topic, but I like it here. We're a bit
more laid back than others.

Chris, from your website it looks like your from Cornwall, is this true? I'm
from Liverpool.

Cheers for your comments!
No, I'm from Essex, but go to Cornwall quite a bit. Just fancied dumping
some pics down of Cornwall, as the Americans love the place!!!!

I saw the UFO flying for the first time last night so I followed it.
After flying around a bit it settled on my track. It did look like a
red-tailed grey skyranger which came along & bombed it and flew off the
screen to the SW.

It`s been a while since last time I checked this newsgroup, so I might
be missing something, but what exactly are you talking about??? If it`s
about those fish-in-the-sea-thing I hope everyone understood that it was
a joke.
