It's been available for about six weeks on budget release (and it was six weeks ago I legitimised my own "upgrade").

Not to mention airports are greatly improved. Oh, and the old fashioned signals have disappeared - I loved the original ones. Ooooh. The screen is slightly redesigned too. And you can get more money - the original could only go up to a certain amount before it got kunfoosed and went into the red. Oops. Right click to remove warning dialog boxes - a *great* addition. What else was there? Oh, the money for transporting was actually reduced - it was too easy to create oodles of money on just a couple of coal runs. I'm sure theres more. So they are different!!!!!

All in all the best ever game ever made for the PC Pity I seem never to be able to get to more than 904 in the ratings. If only someone could persuade Chris Sawyer to upgrade it ! Just in case anyone didn't read a previous poster on the subject. The game is available again for the first time for some years in the UK. at £10.99 - IMHO the best value of anything available for the pc. -- Tom Dawkins

You could try http://mdstudios.virtualave.net/ http://www.tpa.freeuk.com/ or http://www.c-j-allan.freeserve.co.uk/ all of which had some info last time I looked.
