Well, to start we need to set the ground rules, Chris, since you'll be hosting this we will need a address on the web for your page, i can make the page if you provide the space. At the site we will have the stuff needed and we will discust rules and various things here. As for the contest starting date, the page ( i'll start on a rough now ) and the map, which can be done soon will be the stakes to start it.

Shatter, I haven't created / uploaded the scenario yet, but go to www.mcmuffin.demon.co.uk and follow the tycoon page links. What are your comments?

Shatter - can we keep to one thread please?! Don't mean to be nasty, but it makes it easy for others to follow too. Thanks. Ok, you can mail me your web page and I'll store it. My web site is www.mcmuffin.demon.co.uk and there is a link waiting in the wings for the tycoon area. I'll "advertise" the competition around a bit to stir up a bit more interest, but I only know of 3 people so far.

Well, i feel the random scenario is a good idea, so people can't cheat, i think we should hold back starting the compition cause only 4 people know of it, if we wait,, i'm sure we can talk to the some of the uys running websites to advertise it. Also, i am going to start on the page. So please check it out, it won't be done. If a certain scenario is too hard, we can choose between other scenarios. But you don`t need many scenarios, only 4-5. --- Mr.XL mr...@usa.net

>Why do you not make several competitions/scenarios? This is a trial "competition" and I feel it would be hard to administer at this point in time with 4 possible scenarious going. It could be something to take up later - but don't forget the main aim of this. Its not to see how much money we can all get, but also to learn how others do track layouts, how they've achieved success, and how we can learn off each other. Yes, its a competitiion, but we should also be working with each other and learn from each other. Or maybe I'm talking out the wrong end. I dunno!!
