On Gamespot a first review and pictures can be seen of
a new upcoming title. Locomotion ; a game with the
Rollercoaster engine and the graphics of transporttycoon deluxe. Read the
review at
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/cslocomotion/factsheet_6096782.html
Transport Tycoon Deluxe II or should it be history?

It is well known news already but I belive it won't be better than TTD ... and it's graphic does not come from TTD (it's worse than TTD)

It sounds also, according the screen shots, that the layout of the track is still totally anarchic, without any notion of network (more than 2 stations on the same line). ___________________________________________ Alain Migeon Please reverse dk and rovsing for replying.

No One forces you to build a station different groundlevel ;) "Mario Schmidt" <mario.schmidt@mediavillage-nojunkmail.de> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:40c3827b$0$161$9b622d9e@news.freenet.de... > Antoine schrieb: > > > He should switch to 16 or 32 bits colors :D > > That wouldn't improve it. > > Currently, locomotion just sucks. > > Maybe he should start again from scratch and get this idea of stations > in the air out of his brain. Now there I disagree. Elevated stations do exist, you know. And can be very effective - see e.g. the station Amsterdam Sloterdijk (Netherlands), where three levels of tracks cross each other. If only that were possible in TTD... -- Jan Willem from Odijk, Netherlands jw dot van dot dormolen at hccnet dot nl New to this newsgroup? If only that were possible in TTD... That must have been the challenge for Chris. Hopefully those elevated stations donΒ΄t henpeck the game. :o) regards Michael

Seems that you never saw this in reality, eh? But I agree that the graphics do suck tremendously. The opposite of seamless. Not to speak of those blurry buildings. But the ugliest are the elevated tracks. Of course they must exist, but their look is a catastrophe!! Seems like some kind of sidewalks beside the tracks with bricked walls to fence them. Aaargh.
