Hi all, After I did installed dbsetxlw, the ends of my ICE's are gone. Before I did it installed, I was using TTDPatch 2.0.1 alpha 15 and the first edition of the DB set. Now, after installing TTDPatch 2.0.1 alpha 18 (because I tought alpha 15 was the problem) I'm still missing the ends. When I send my ICE's to a depot, to build an end (by pressing the Ctrl button and 'Build Vehicle'), the word STOP will apear on the last 'nose' (the word stop is flashing). I did tried to find an explanation for this, but I can't find it. What do I have to change, or what am I doing wrong?? Help me please :-) !! Thanks in advance, Jorick [NL] jorickdelange@planet.nl

I have the same thing. I think I know what causes this but I didn't have time to check if I was right. Anyway, there seems to be a conflict between [the totally amazig] DBXL set and the -M "Multihead" switch of the [just great] TTD Patch. Again, just my thoughts, didn't check. > When I send my ICE's to a depot, to build an end (by pressing the Ctrl > button and 'Build Vehicle'), the word STOP will apear on the last 'nose' > (the word stop is flashing). > > I did tried to find an explanation for this, but I can't find it.

It would involve combining your pointless, rude comment and your behind. People like you never cease to amaze me. You guys always seem to have plenty of time to shout "RTFM", but explaining - that's a no-no. Pathetic.

This is how I managed to enable random liveries for tanker carriages, that didn't work by default. I didn't notice the ICE-3 bit, though. Shit happens. > People like you never cease to amaze me. Since you decided to join our nicely-shaping cheery discussion here, could you kindly answer the question I asked you more than a week ago - the one about goods carriages? (I believe this topic was not mentioned in the manual) Thank you so much.

Sorry, been away for a while. Anyway, I was wandering if the carriages were meant to have twice the normal capacity when refitted to carry goods. If I'm not mistaken, it always used to be the same before the new DBXL. Say, the "goods van" (long wheel base): 30 units od livestock but 60 crates of goods, and so on. Is this a bug or a feature? (the eternal question! :) ) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Blunck" <michael...@ewetel.net> Newsgroups: alt.games.microprose.transport-tyc Sent: Thursday, March 04, 2004 3:16 AM Subject: Re: Question about goods carriages, was: No ICE 'end' more after I'dd installed dbsetxlw > Ark wrote: > > > Since you decided to join our nicely-shaping cheery discussion > > here, could you kindly answer the question I asked you more than a > > week ago - the one about goods carriages? > > Sorry, I don?t remember and I didn?t find that question in agmtt postings of the > last two weeks. > > Could you please ask it again? > > Michael >

Oh... I guess I got confused since it wasn't possible to refit goods carriages before. Thanks anyway. > > Anyway, I was wandering if the carriages were meant to have twice > > the normal capacity when refitted to carry goods. > > Well, in TTD one "crate of goods" weighs 1/2 ton.
