I'm afraid Kit that you may have to start again, using the new rules. I
don't know where you got these rules from, but I'm assuming that you've
already played a game with these rules. TT then uses these original rules
for any new games, until you change them. In algebra (?)

If you played a game with 'x' rules, then any future games will be played
with them also, rather than having 'y' rules (where y stands for the correct
rules)

About your query on the loan then i mean 500,000. This becomes $1,000,000.
The game handles this by doubling all costs from the option.

If you don't want to start again, fine. But it will make things harder for
yourself, as everyone else will only have 1 competitor
