Hello! Klaatu <klaatu@nospam.invalid>: > It would be nice to turn off the offers of subsidies. Maybe it would be nice to have a new row of fields in the message option window. Currently you have only the choice between "Summary" and "Full", I suggest to add a "none"-Button. So, subsidies will still be offered and you may watch them in the subsidies window. This is especially useful when you play a multiplayer game or when you have some AI players around -- switched on only a few years ago -- which want to fulfill some subsidies. But for me, switching to summary is still ok. Put them into the news ticker is okay for me. Really important information will still show up in message windows. I have some other things which may be interesting for The Patch and OpenTTD. 1. In OpenTTD I miss this jackhammer sound when I found road reconstruction. The caterpillars appear and move around, but they are very silent. 2. Sometimes I go to every town to see if they still like me. This is because there is no other way to find out there opinion about you. It would be great when someone could add a little indicator in the town listing. This could be a simple "+" sign for "Good" and above, a "=" sign for mediocre and a "-" sign standing for "Poor" and below. Or maybe a "--" for Very Poor, "---" for appalling, etc. The first suggestion with only "+", "=" and "-" could be realized with a green, yellow and red light like in the train overview. So, you simply had to look over the town listing and see where you have to work on public relations. 3. If this is possible, there should be a new button on every vehicles main window where you could switch on/off the planned path the vehicle would drive. When using the early slow boats which need month to get to their destination docks, it is really annoying to follow them and look if they find their way or need another buoy to navigate way around a larger peninsula. The way should be marked in some way up to the next waypoint of the vehicle, maybe with these bluish fields normally used only for the coverage area of stations. I think it wouldn't be useful for planes, but for boats, road vehicles and trains. That's all I want to suggest for now. Read you later, Christoph -- "Is that a 6210 in your pocket or do you really love me?" (Dietz Proepper)
