The Lost Welshman won't take me to Skull Island without a compass. I have nothing that will make the magnetized pin float in the measuring cup full of sea water. Well, except maybe for the cork that's stuck in the shaving soap bottle. I can't find a way to get it out. Am I on the wrong track? Just a hint, please.

Is that a question or the answer? Let me rephrase: I'm guessing that I need to get the cork out of the bottle so that I can use it with the magnetized pin. Then the magnetized pin will float in the cup full of sea water and make a compass. Am I right or wrong? If I'm right, then can someone give me a hint as to how to get the !@#$ cork out of the bottle. IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!!
