You're telling me; I'm using *slrn* to access the newsgroup now (thanks for
the Facebook tip-off, Vigilante); last time I posted to usenet it would've
been from Thunderbird.

(I wonder if this will work)

Be careful not to hurt your back. It's a rather heavy badge of honour.

Oh, this reminds me. Aren't badges supposed to be in one's .sig?

*opens new tab*
*types "nano -U -t -x -r 72 .sig"
"changes .sig"
"presses CTRL-X"
"presses Y"

Hooray! Who needs easy optimized for touch interfaces when it can be
done in a more difficult way using the command line?

I already hurt my front by pushing the pin too far into my clothing.

vim ~/.sig
[edit sig]
:wq

Not that I'm trying to show off or anything.

Of course naming the file correctly is also a good plan.

W0T!?! You're using vim!! That's the child of the editor of the
beast!!! But it's okay, let's not start an editor war. That has been
done before.

How about an application launcher war instead? I am very fond of
gmrun.

It's what I was brought up with; I use it daily for work.

I just use the one built into notion[2]; press F3, type command. Or
press F2 to open a terminal if that's your sort of thing. But I have
been using Linux far too long to start becoming evangelical about any
application.

Why did you just make something that resembles a footnote and then
apply a 2 to it? That makes no sense, tiling boy[1].

It's the editor of the beast, not of the BEAST. A small but important
difference. I'm sorry I can't give you what you need, but would you
like to eat this poisoned bowl of noodles? It's completely free.
