Since Comcast decided to kill their news server, I am stuck reading
here and there with Google - which sucks. I am not paying to read
this group, which is full of slackers!! (Or absent of slackers - I'm
not sure which, anymore) I also killed Comcast. They suck.
So there.

I'm also too lazy to look for something else which will enable me to
read this group, free and less confusing-like. Point me in the right
direction.

/me wakes up and goes "Wha? Huh?"

/me points (and points mean prizes)

http://www.eternal-september.org/

It is what once was Motzarella. Blonde, Pixel and I are on it and probably a
couple of others.

Now if you're a bit nosy and want to know what all this Eternal September stuff
means:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eternal_September

/me goes back and feverishly continues slacking

Arrrrr, you'll have to settle for a hurg. What'd you expect? It was 4:53. I was
about as alive as a corps in the opening minutes of Columbo.

4:53? Then it was neppie who should have used the "Arrrrr", as the only
one to actually post on the 19th.

Yes, it was my subconscious taking over that I posted on ITLAPD!!! I
didn't even realize it was the 19th until AFTER I posted!
I even changed my language to pirate on FaceBook.

I want nothing to do with goats. What do you think I am? Some piece of LOTR
related ASCII art by Reinder? I don't even want to stare at goats. Now watching
a movie about men staring at goats, that could actually be fun.

Keelhauling is relatively quiet compared to FIRING A CANNON!!! At best you get
sobbing noises or a NOOOO...blub blub blub. Not an Earth shattering kaboom.

Like the golden days of silent movies? The physical comedy of Harold Lloyd,
Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy and the keystone cops? Note how those are all men?

I guess this is why "firing the cannon" is a persistent running gag in the

Oh ye, I almost forgot about reinder and his obsession with ASCII goats!
My brain is too fried to come up with some witty reply about you staring at
men staring at goats. Let's just say it's a BAAAd idea.

The men who fire their cannons at goats seems even worse.

That's what SHE said.

Anywho...3 out of 5, that's more than 50% I'd say odds are, there are more

Unless they fire the cannon joke guy.

I think the series will go further after 5 eps. With a new arc or as part of a
new season of eps.

It's not art, it's an alternative reality. YOU can be part of it too!

Dearly departed alternative realists, sorry I couldn't come. Have fun, just not
with the goats. I'm pretty sure that's a crime in any reality.

Oh, I often connect my laptop to the television screen and then watch

It doesn't matter it has nothing to do with goats, so we're safe.

I'd like to see you in a huge TV-store. "That 1080p 240hz 60 inch plasma screen

Well, all televisions should, since the ASCII-output is something the
software player does. And ASCII is not evil, it's just misunderstood.

ASCII isn't short for ASCIIEEEEVIIIIIL?

It's not that those huge monster televisions can't or won't put ASCII on, since
they-re ASCIIEEEEVIIIIIL-agnostic. It's that the sales person selling the thing
will end up in hospital by stabbing his/her eyes out or just getting a stroke.

If I'd have a spell checker active, I'm sure it would mark
ASCIIEEEEVIIIIIIIL as wrong. It's just that using a spell checker in a
non-graphical interface is cumbersome. Perhaps I should go graphic
again.

Ohh, ASCII isn't that bad. I remember one of the very first homepages
I had in the early 2000s. The background was an animated .gif image
which showed different very bright colors every .05 seconds. It had
several MIDI files as background music and it was totally weird and
wicked. It was during my Dr Hooft period and I called it weewaa. It
was awesome.

I don't think anybody will give me anything this year! :( But February
14th is when the Chinese New Year will start.
