Only one week to go until the release of 'The sige of Spinner cay'! I hope
it's as good as #1.

Wonder if they'll do a "Previously on Monkey Island..."?

Yes the voodoo lady does a short reprise.

I've always thought that there was something fishy about mermaids!

So how many of these episodes have been released so far? And are they
as good as the original games? I will probably find out once I buy a
new computer that is capable of running games with insanely high
system requirements.

Just played episode 3 last week. Murray is back!

I think it's a good continuation of the series. The episodic thing isn't
much different to the chapters in the originals, though probably more
dramatic. All the characters and situations feel right though, and every
episode seems to be better than the last.

You don't need quite such insane requirements if you dial the graphics
down to turn off all the flashy effects.

Murray being back is always a good thing! Mwuahahahaha!!

What about the locations though? Do they return to the islands we
already know, or do they introduce many locations instead. From what
I've read so far they do have many returning characters. Now if only
they would bring back the Lost Welshman!

I don't even get into the menu! My only system here is an almost 6
years old laptop with onboard graphics. Of course I could buy a new
computer, but since I hardly ever play games it would be a bit too
much of an expenditure for just a monkey island.

All the islands so far are new. And there's a lot of nice scenes onboard
ships that wouldn't really have been possible in previous games.

The usual cast of characters are there - Guybrush, Elaine, Voodoo Lady,
and now Murray. Haven't seen Stan yet. Lechuck is there too, but not as
we know him... not sure what to think of that storyline yet.

There's a couple of good new characters that recur between episodes,
and then the rest seem to be new for each chapter.

Ah... well I've been playing in a virtual machine and still getting
decent graphics levels, so it didn't seem to be that insane.

I was very happy to see the return of Murray.

Stan was mentioned in passing, but I would like to see him return as well.
I wonder what kind of voice they will give him???

I'm pretty sure I read about Stan being in the new game! I even have a
screenshot:

I just hope he moves his arms around like he did in CoMI rather than
being the spastic guy in EfMI.

I forgot what this was about. That's what you get when spreading
conversations out over the years. I think I'd better just not say
anything at all.

*says not anything at all*

Stop saying nothing at Al. It makes Al feel weird. And not in a musically
enclined way.
