Captain William Kidd (1645-1701), was a mighty Scottish pirate. In
their wisdom, our government is trying to "downgrade" him to a
privateer/buccaneer. This is a disgrace. He lived and died as a great
pirate.
While having a look in Wiki at his life, I was very disappointed to
find only 6 famous Scottish pirates, while 66 are listed for England, and 23
for the Dutch. It looks like the earliest modern-day pirates, i.e. from 800
a.d. onwards, hale from Kasperland.
BTW! 13 days to go!

I like it how those statistics seem to correlate with the aglami regulars nationalities. -- Pixel, magic kitten www.whitefall.nl/johannes
