me neither.

Shhh! I've learned never to make a big deal of women reaching old age.
They don't like aging for some reason, even if they've been treated with
everything from vanishing cream to botox.

No botox or vanishing cream for me, thanks. Though I hear botox works
wonders for migraines - I may try that.

What amazes me is how few people know that tidbit of information. But
then again, botulism is "all natural". So it *must* be okay.

So how old school are you? Penn & Teller old school? Julia Sweeney? Or
all the way back to "I'm Chevy Chase and you're not"?

This campaign has become such a farce that I stopped paying attention,
really. Of course, they all pretty much go that way.

Well, technically, I should be Julia Sweeney old school (except I know
nothing of SNL past the very early 80's - but I have seen "Pat", which is
pretty funny), I am a little older than Penn & Teller have been together,
and once again, I can recall clearly "I'm Chevy Chase and you're not" being
very funny.

It all started with the Blues Brothers. Then there was MTV doing reruns
and still later: Comedy Central.

There's a bunch of SNL bits that became movies or comedians that became
famous outside SNL. So you kinda get to know SNL. And then there's the
whole Penn and Teller / Julia Sweeney thing. Hardly anyone knows them
here, but they've caught my interest in no small part thanks to the
internet. P&T shows have aired here though, or at least they appeared on
Leno or Letterman.

Blame high fuel costs and American manufacturing. The clown you can blame

'nuff said. Doesn't it always? My 17 yo daughter loves the Blues

OLDER movies with the original SNL cast - not this new crap they are trying
to pass off! You can't beat Trading Places, etc, etc.

I like them both enough to think they are pretty funny.
