Pixel is Spam? [OT]

For some reason Pixel's latest posts show up with a "Bad article number"
error. None of the content gets displayed. Besides the error there is
also a message saying the message may have expired.

Did Pixel crash the internets again after stuffing something down the
pipes he shouldn't have?

Found a couple of workarounds. Turns out I can see his posts if I look
at the source of the post, they then appear in my Thunderbird. Pressing
reply however results in a blanc e-mail to Pixel, not a quoting reply
into Aglami. I haven't quite worked out if it's a Thunderbug or a
Motzerellabug.

I wonder what will happen next time Pixel does something silly like posting.

Well let's hope we never live to see that day.

Hmm... I don't think I've ever seen that response to "Get a real
newsreader" before. I like it. I too have had incredible amounts of
trouble with Real(tm) products. Even Real(tm) cheese gives me
problems, but that's probably just my lactose intolerance.

So, to rot-13-reinder, I say: get a non-artificial newsreader!

The other day I tried this newsreader on Linux called Pan. While not as
good as Gravity, it did its job pretty well. Even that could perform
magic tricks with ROT-13. So yes, get a real newsreader, not an email
program that happens to have some usenet capabilities. Though, I guess
those days are over. When I tried to find some information about Pan, I
mostly found forums threads full of people asking how to add RSS feeds
to this "newsreader". And even here in Aglami, few people use real
newsreaders:

Thunderbird: 3
Outlook Express: 2
Gravity: 1
Firefox: 1
Turnpike: 1
Agent: 1

I actually use the RSS function the most, then the e-mail function and
usenet comes in last. And I've got too many silly little programs on my
system as it is. Going to Linux isn't going to help that. It might be
okay for 90% of my usage, it's that other 10% that keeps me locked in
with Windows. Mainly games or crap other people use that probably can't
do without some Microsoft thing like Windows, Office or even MSN.

I know you can do a MSN chat on Linux. But does that include sound,
video, winks and online games? Not that I'm so crazy about all that
stuff, but most seem to dislike chatting to someone without all those
trimmings.
