This is what I've tried to far: - Thunderbird: extreme bloatware - Sylpheed: I like it a lot, but unfortunately it doesn't have per-account format settings and since I use it for email as well, I don't quite feel like replying my emails with "%f is a real pirate:" - Pan: that's what I currently use, but the current version is a rewrite with a lot of functionality not yet implemented, for instance it keeps nagging me when lines are longer than 80 characters. the old version reminds me of RH Linux 6.1. I don't like to be reminded of RH Linux 6.1 - Gnus: way too much dependency bloat and it reminds of of RH Linux 6.1 - Knode: I'm allergic to Qt -- ervaqre, the lone usenet wanderer
