Having problems with network setup

I am trying to get network play working on my home network.
I have a PC and a Laptop, each running XP and with Duke Atomic loaded.
I have installed the IPX protocol and it still is not working.
What do I need to do to set up network play?
When I select "Save and Launch Duke", within the setmain.exe, nothing
happens.
It is the same on both computers.

Thanks

Hum.... Maybe WinXP is the problem here; Microsoft made it clear that old DOS
programs may work but will no longer be supported ( i.e. not garanteed to work).

Anyway, i don't see why DN3D should not work. Send me by email the ".pif" files
of both setup.exe and duke3d.exe and i'll compare them to mines. On my side, i
will setup both my Win Machines and try it at home.
