I came across an Duke 3D add on level for the Lunar episode. I'm stuck are
there any walkthroughs for add on? It would normally be in the Overlord
area I think.

                                          Thanks, Phil

Do you mean one of the secret levels?
Is it Spin Cycle or Lunatic Fringe?

Level is called 'Harmsway' , episode 2 / level 9 , upside down ship
, enter through a hatch in the wheelhouse , roam around ship , exit through
a hole in the hull " to the spas on shore" .
I am back out of the ship and don't see anything unusual . It's an
add on level not a secret one.

Is the add-on for the PC version of Duke 3D?
Is the add-on a single map or part of an entire episode?
Is it a commercial add-on like Duke Carribbean or a user-made add-on like
Secrets of the Acropolis?

Wow Nut.... Pc version , found it on a old PC gamer disc along with a
Pirates add on , author is Stephen Long so it looks like a user-made add-on.
This may be more trouble than it's worth , I appreciate your help but don't
spend too much time on this .

The map is just a single-map add-on I believe.

http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Stadium/5480/Duke3D/harmsway.html

"The ship is sinking and upside down. Duke must enter from the upper
deck wheel house, and fight his way up to the bottom of the ship, get
the blue key, and exit through the hull to the spas on shore. "

http://rtcm.thecomitatus.com/knowledge-base/downloads-rtcm/duke3d-maps/

There's a package called "2Episodes" at the bottom by a Steve Long,
which perhaps Harmsway is included in? This would explain your
confusion here:

 > It would normally be in the Overlord area I think.

Hope that helps somehow. All I found with googling was 2-3 sites, so I
wouldn't count on a walkthrough.

Unless someone is kind enough to download the map and *make* a
walkthrough for it...

Or maybe the description is enough. I dunno.

This sounds like one of Steve Long's levels, specifically E2L9.map I
enjoyed that series a lot.

You're looking for the spas? Big door on shore. Can't miss it - or
so I thought. It's on the other side of the ship from the hole, if
that helps. I don't think this spoils any surprises.

No, those are them. There's something you have to do as you make your
way through the ship, and they'll unlock. I actually forget what it
is, so I can't spoil it for you. It was something pretty easy, IIRC,
like pulling a switch.

Nut / Tom , I really appreciate your help on this , I wish this was a
little bit more earth shattering than finishing a game. I've helped people
in several things myself over the years , I guess it's my turn too need
help. I always have doubts about demos/ add-ons...... did it load
correctly etc .

OK, I played through it again. It is not any of the doors that is
there initially in front of the ship. The spa entrance appears later,
by explosion. And it isn't a door, but that won't matter. As for how
to trigger it...

...remember the blue keyswitch that you pass when you enter the ship
and then forget about?
