I get the same error as with DUKE IN DC, but the patch doesn't work as it is made for DC. Anyone have a similar patch for Duke!Zone II? PS. I used AGENT to post this message. Search for it on the 'net or go to my webpage and click on NEW USERS. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/donalddube

Anyone have a similar patch for Duke!Zone II? There's no patch. Get JonoF's Port http://jonof.edgenetwork.org/index.php?p=jfduke3d Then check this thread: http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=470668&an=0&page=2#470668 Greetings Funduke

Go to this page: http://www.3drealms.com/downloads.html and scroll down to get moslo or cpy-kill. Greetings Funduke

You can simply copy the duke!zone2-files into your duke3d-directory and launch the game with this command: duke3d.exe /xdz-game.con /gduke!zon.grp You can also warp directly to a episode with the /v# -parameter (where # is the number of the episode) and to a level within that episode by using the /l## -Parameter (## = any level number from 1 - 11). You can also set the skill of the game by using the /s# -parameter (#= skill 1 - 4). You have to be aware of the fact, that the /g -parameter, that points the game to the grp-file must be at the last position on the command line. This command: duke3d.exe /v3 /l4 /s3 /xdz-game.con /gduke!zon.grp will warp you to the third duke!zone2-episode (monkey shines) at level four (fun house) on skill 3 (come get some). This will also work with JonoF's port ( http://jonof.edgenetwork.org/index.php?p=jfduke3d ) If you want to play Duke!Zone2 in Dukematch, launch setup in this way: setup.exe /xdz-game.con /gduke!zon.grp and then make there your input for the multiplayer game. ---------------- Maybe you still want to look at the launcher application. If so read further: Under winxp i recommend to use JonoF's port ( http://jonof.edgenetwork.org/index.php?p=jfduke3d ). Under win98se (the ultimate gamer OS), the usual dos-duke should be able do it's job. (though jfduke looks still much more beautiful :) ) O.K. Moslo doesnt appear to be the tool of first choice, because it slows the performance of the game down. This is, how i did it: I downloaded cpukiller ( ftp://ftp.3drealms.com/patches/cpukil205.zip ), installed it, launched it. I used the trackbar to set a slow down factor of 20% in the main screen of cpukiller. This might be different for you: I have a Pentium III with 700 Mhz. I did NOT klick on the "Start!!"-Button. Instead i klicked on the "Add"-button and selected the D!z2.exe. Then in the Properties i was setting again 20% of cpu use (once again: the might be different for you. Fool around with it). Important: In the "Advanced" part of the "properties" menue, enable the "slow down only for:" -option and set it to 20 seconds or how long you will hang around in the d!zone2-menue. Because that is the only problem: Only the D!z2.exe (that gives you a front-end to select episode and skill to launch the game) will need to be slowed down. Once you've made you settings, select D!z2 and klick on the launch-button. Greetings Funduke
