Hi, can anybody help me to get Duke operating on an old Soundblaster AWE64 under Windows 2000 Professional? Problem No.1 seems to be the sound.

It can be downloaded at: http://www.ece.mcgill.ca/~vromas/vdmsound/ Duke3D poses an addition problem, since you cannot test for sound within the setup program. However, if you use the following sound card settings, the sound will work in game without visible problem: Sound FX Card: Sound Blaster Address: 0x220 Sound Card Type: Sound Blaster 16 or AWE32 Interrupt: IRQ 7 8-Bit DMA Channel: 1 16-Bit DMA Channel: 5 Voices: 8 Mixing: 16-bit Stereo Sound Mixing rate: 22Khz
