Friday nights episode of the Screen Savers on TechTV featured it. Half-Life 2 was also mentioned. But let's be serious. DK4E is the never ending April Fool joke. We'll be waiting FOREVER.

"But once again, 3D Realms stood out from the crowd. The company's perennial absentee
title, Duke Nukem Forever, is still vaporware. The first-person shooter, now in its
sixth year of development, earned almost as many votes as all the other nominations
combined."

HL2 is probably overrated in that category. While it has been put off, it's in a manner no different than other small scale game delays. HL2 was being worked on, but there wasn't a specific release date made until it was almost finished development. This is unlike DN4E/WC3, where the release date was *way* past whatever was expected (which is the vapourware threshold.)
