So the Lottery in California was up to 90 million dollars, so my coworkers pooled their money and bought tickets. I didn't get my money in in time, but I still fantasized about what I would do with my share of the money. (They didn't win.) After a new car (Mustang!) and a nice house, my biggest wish was a top of the line computer. Athlon 64, fastest video card, 2 gigs ram.... Can't dual boot Win98 on a computer with more than half a gig of ram, so I'll have to have a second computer for that. While I'm at it, a third computer to run my old Dos games on. Anything slow enough is damn near ancient in computer terms; too bad they don't still build 486 computers. But why would they do that except for old games? Why not? It would be a non-modifiable system, with integrated graphics and Sound Blaster sound (8 bit? 16 bit?). It'd have to have 3-1/2, 5-1/4, and CDrom drives so you could play all of the old games. Modem? Network? After all, Doom and Duke both supported multiplayer. (Granted, both have plenty of Win32 ports, but I haven't found one I like.)
