Level 5/spaceship/exit--help

I'm inside the spaceship in level five and have entered the green convex doors. There's an enormous monster and I can run around, pick up pipe bombs, shoot the ladies in the clams and pick up armor and ammo. Now, how do I exit and get to the next level? There is no next level. You have to kill that enormous monster and then the endgame sequence plays. If this is only the fifth level you've played on then you missed the secret level access on level 4.

I saw from a reply to someone else's post that the secret level is at the end of level four, somewhere during the ride down the green toxic river (I presume just before the exit). The green river starts in the room with the ventilator shaft you shoot out right to get to the two health atoms, right? I'm looking for the crack in the wall, but can't find it. Any suggestions? Before or after you pick up the ammo for the rocket gun? Or am I totally in the wrong area? ************ Rob Weinberg robe...@mont.mindspring.com

After you pickup the ammo. It's near the end of the slime river, near
the last "lighted" area on the left - you'll see cracks in the wall -
shoot and dive in the hole. Good luck!
By the way - I just finished DN3 yesterday. What a ride!! Can't wait
for my CDROM to arrive!!
