DN3D: "HOW DID YOU GET HERE?"

Near the begining of Level 4, there is the ledge looking out onto the
lake over the sub with tower guns on ledges to either side. When you
blow up the guns you can jump to the ledges and get some stuff in the
caves.

One cave has a message "How did you get here?" The duke3d.faq says that
it's because you need the jetpack to get to the cave (which you can't get
on that level without cheating), but I have no trouble just jumping (it's
easier if you do an F7 so that you can see yourself and back up as far as
possible before making the jump).

What's the deal with this? Did 3drealms really think that jump was
impossible without the jetpack?

If so, then Michael Straight wants a long-jump medal.

Apparently so, but it's easy. I got it on the first try. I was rather
confused by the "How did you get here?" sign. It's like the "You're not
supposed to be here" sign on level 5, which I got to without cheating.

Let me get this straight... you got to the words in the shrinkray
generator in level 5 without cheating? Please explain that one to me...
I'm dying to know how you got THAT FAR UP without a jetpack.

Using a jetpack is not cheating. I think he meant he got to that spot
without using the cheat codes.
