(please add more info on .con files as you discover new ideas) Quick note on the user.con file. When you start screwing with your duke3d user.con file (common!, use that edit utility on your computers Operating System even if you dont know what your doing, hell i did, its fun) watch out for certain files that you need to tread carefully with. Namely that darn define RUNNINGSPEED line. make the number too low and Duke dont move, make it too high and you zoom off at mach3 right throug a whole lotta walls kill ing yourself. Another fun one is the blast radius of the rpg and pipebombs i.e. define RPGBLASTRADIUS and PIPEBOMBRADIUS as much fun as they are if you pump that number too high (say 5000 or more?) and you take out entire city leveles or at least evrthin within line of site of the impact/blast, including yourself of course. Changing the numbers on the players inventory ammounts is verry usefull just dont expect to keep easy track of how much time you got left. If anybody else comes up with their own little favorites, or if anybody figures out how to make the rats explode or somesuch please post it here. Thanks....don. <>Be carefull what you wish for, or at least word it properly -@
