>>Nobody said they had a right to steal. And I personally feel that copying >>a piece of software is NOT the same thing as stealing a BMW. For every >>BMW, a person had to labor to create it. That is not true to duplicating >>disks and cds. > >duh, thats why BMWs are $30,000 and software is $40. different level, >same concept. "duh", your common sense is impressive. >>Because if the kid had no intention of buying the game to begin with, the >>company cannot say that were he to not have found a pirated copy, he would >>have bought it. > >so, if i would never BUY a BMW, then it makes no difference if i went >out and stole one? time to rethink the logic, pal! maybe they didnt >lose money in the sense of a sale, but they lost money in POTENTIAL >sales. meanwhile, the thief gets to use the product exactly the same >way as a person who PAID for it. is that fair? hell no. is that >morally correct? hell no. Do you have a comprehension problem? The words "no difference" was contained anywhere in my post. To point another comprehensional error of yours, if there is "no intention" of buying something, there is no "POTENTIAL" sale. >>Copying a game off your buddy and going into a store and stealing a game >>is not the same thing. Maybe morally, but realistically, no. > >well! no shit genius. conceptually its the exact same thing and THAT >is what we're talking about. what kind of moron thinks that going to >the store, stuffing a box in your bag and leaving is the same thing as >going to your friend's house and copying some disks? obviously there's >a difference. "conceptually its the exact same thing". Aparently a moron like you. >>Im quite a bit older than 13. Its sounds to me like your common sense >>needs a lot of work. > >this coming from an advocate for piracy of intellectual property? it >sounds to me that your income, ignorance, and selfishness needs a lot >of work. I have not stated anywhere that I advocate piracy Beavis. You have no knowledge of my income (which is generally considered to be upper class for the books), what I am ignorant or not ignorant of, and whether or not I am a selfish person. Believe that you dont know a person by one post. Your manner leaves something to be desired.
