I have the shareware version of Duke 3D on a computer runnig Windows 95. When I tried to install it on another computer running Windows XP it installed okay but when I try to play the game the action is so choppy that it's unplayable. If I type in DNRATE it shows the framerate to be anywhere from 800 to 1000 fps (no, that's not a typo) but it's acting more like it's running at 10 fps.
