As George Broussard says......... WID

                                    "When It's Done"

>>From what I've read though, they started the game over again in 2002/2003.
As it stands, the Tech is done & locked, they are working on the content
now. 3D Realms said that most *good games* (Doom 3) took 4 years to
complete, so I'm assuming four years would be needed to complete the game.
If so, this would be around the 10 Year anniversary of Duke Nukem 3D (1996),
so I'm betting on a 2006 release date. Anything else (IMO) is a most
welcome bonus.

I wish it was out now, the Dukester has to be one of the best and most
enduring gaming experiences around.

Trying to get information from 3D Realms though is like trying to get blood
from a stone; they shun all enquiries from the gaming media, with their
Mantra (WID WID WID WID), so us mere mortals have no chance!

If you've not visited already, take a wander over to www.3drealms.com and
have a look in the forums. George B posts there, as do a couple of other
members of 3D Realms.
