(Don't forget to add the variables at the end of the setblaster line) In my computers AUTOEXEC.BAT file, the sound-related lines look like this: @ECHO OFF SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 H5 P330 T6 <-- Add this line BEFORE AU30DOS.com SET CTSYN=C:\WINDOWS C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\SBLIVE\DOSDRV\SBEINIT.COM <-- My Soundblaster Live DOS startup program. So on MY setblaster line, I'm using Interrupt 7 (I7) and DMA 1 (D1). I believe the P330 is the hex address for my music card. I don't know what the H5 and T6 stand for. AUTOEXEC.BAT is in the root directory of your C: drive and it executes when you do a cold startup or reset. There's another batch files called DOSSTART.BAT in your windows directory that does the same thing when you shut down from windows in to DOS. Don't forget to edit this file too, if that's how you start a DOS session. :o) --Nut
