I had a winmodem and had no problems running a modem game. I did have problems with lag and out of sync errors though I was connecting at 28.8 But I was using a 166mhz pentium with 48mb memory I now have a 400mhz pentium 2 with 192mb memory and it runs great I still connect at 28.8 becuase I live in the sticks but the game runs perfect I think I've gotten 1 out of sync error in 2 or 3 hundred hours of modem play Hope this helps "Briggs, Mike & Donna" wrote: > After reading a lot of the post, I think I understand that if you have a > winmodem in your pc and you are trying to run a Duke3d modem game it will > not work.
