Duke Nukem Forever uses a modified Unreal engine. It will use most 3D cards that have Direct3D, Glide, or OpenGL support. 3DRealms does not plan on supporting software mode. So S3 ViRGE, ATI Rage, nVidia NV1, Matrox Mystique, PowerVR PCX1, or users of any other early 3D cards will need to buy a more recent video card (or purchase a dedicated 3D board such as the Voodoo Graphics or Voodoo2 [I doubt PowerVR (PCX2) support will still be in DNF]).
