I heard about that, it was a company (I dunno what the name of the company)
who tried to make a CD with all of the Duke Nukem maps and Total Conversions
but when they tried to distribute it somehow 3D Realms found out about it
and they were forced to stop distribution because I believe they said that
the company was infringing the copyrights for Duke Nukem which at the time
belongs to 3D Realms and 3D Realms still owns the copyrights for Duke Nukem
because on my disc of Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition it says " 1996 3D Realms
Entertainment. All Rights Reserved. Distributed exclusively by GT
Interactive Software Corp. All other trademarks are the property of their
respective owners." So that means the company had no prior authorization to
make and distribute this Duke Nukem CD-ROM. So the person who is compiling
this CD should write a letter to 3D Realms and tell them what you are doing
and see if they authorize you to make this CD and sell it to people.
