Hi Descent9, The cutscenes are in DeluxePaint II format. If you don't have a PC version of DeluxePaint ii, there is a utility at www.dukeworld.com in the files section called Anim2PCX which will convert these animations into a series of uncompressed PCX still shots. You can then use whatever image programs you want to encode these stills into an AVI, MPG or RM file. The soundfiles are stored seperately from the ANM files, so if you want sound, you'll have to KEXTRACT them and encode them, too. There is a list of sounds used in Duke3D in the latest version of MapFaq (also available at DukeWorld) --Nut d513adrian <d513a...@email.msn.com> wrote in message news:O7eZ2fNJ$GA.303@cpmsnbbsa02... > Hey NutWrench > > Is there a way to convert the cutscenes to a readable file to my > computer like AVI, MPEG, or RealMedia formats? > > > Thanks, > > Descent9 >
