Hmmmm,

IS there a file called lookup.dat either on your CD or on the hard drive
install folder?
I should also have mentioned that you should make sure to set the install
files on your hard-drive install folder to read/write. When you copy files
from a CD-Rom, you also copy the files attributes, which, in the case of a
CD-Rom are always read-only.
Also, there is a copy-protection scheme on the Atomic CD which requires
you to have the Duke Atomic CD in the drive in order to start the game. This
'lookup.dat' might be the keyfile the game is looking for. Let's see if that
works.

* I just looked through my old Duke1.3d CD. There IS a file called
Lookup.dat in the /goodies/build directory. You should try copying this file
off your CD to your hard drive install directory.
There should also be a /goodies/build directory on your Atomic CD.

GT Interactive is the distributor for Duke Nukem Atomic. I recall reading
that they accidentally distributed a large number of Duke Atomic CDs which
were missing the /goodies/build directory. If your CD is missing this
folder, you can get the files from sup...@gtinteractive.com (They'll
probably ask you to verify proof of purchase, like a serial # or file off
the CD)

                                 hope this helps,
                                               -- Nut
