Can anybody help please..trying to install Duke Atomic edition.

After advice from people in this group, I ordered DN3d Atomic edition,
and can't seem to install it.
I am running Windows 98, and after having installed my first Duke
Nukem 3d successfully from file manager, I tried to do the same with
Atomic.
It wont run, i keep getting a message that says "error opening duke
3d.cfg. Permission denied.
I also geta message Spawn error:error0.
I can't seem to install Atomic in Dos, my pc doesn't recognise my D
drive in Dos, I have been told that Win 98 doesn't allow me to install
from Dos.
Is there any simple way of me getting around all this, preferably
installing from Windows.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
