AMD 586 133 Mhz - 8 Mb RAM
MB - AMI Bios - VLB
Orchid Faranheit VLB w/ 1 Mb
Pro Audio Studio (PAS IRQ 11)
SB emulation - BLASTER=A240 I7 D3 H5 P330 T6
IDE drive
Toshiba IDE CD ROM
NE2000 network card
Microsoft Bus mouse (IRQ 5)
The machine plays fine in Win WFWG 311, Doom network game, CD ROMS, etc.
All EXCEPT Duke3d. If I play it as a PAS16, all sounds and mouse are OK,
but can't use mouse. Switch to a SB emu and the video is OK, music, OK,
but no sound FX. I've installed the UBE Vesa drivers, and the MIDI
patch on the 3Drealms site. i either get no sound FX or no mouse. I even
swapped the bus mouse for a serial mouse. No change. I've sel ALL the DOS
environment variables (I think). Anyone have any suggestions. It worked,
but VERY SLOW on the old Intel 486SX. Swapped the MB, now it doesn't work.
It plays OK with keyboard or joystick.
tnx
Gerry
